I Am Meg Own The World In Style is a reality show in search of the next Meg Style Ambassador. I Am Meg 1st season aired on ETC channel last September 8, 2012, with host, beautiful and style savant, Kim Jones. Winner walks away with a 100 grand, a cover feature on Meg magazine, gifts from partners, and social bragging rights to boot! This season, I've been honored to work with the team as the show's official stylist. We started with 14 aspiring and equally talented ladies, and finished off in December, crowning Julz Regio as the I Am Meg Ambassador. Happy 2013, Everyone! 

I haven't been posting in awhile. Here's something I took before the new year. I got this feather piece back in November. Was waiting for the opportune time to wear it. This skirt reminded me of The Black Swan (with Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis) with it's innocence and madness delicately convulsed into this masterpiece. To give strength to this look, I opted for an all-black modern aztec spin through side body-cuts and chunky gladiator strap wedges. Finished off with bloody red lips. I wanted to justify the intricacy of the skirt by giving it an androgynous spin pulled off in black canvass and edgy silhouette. Keeping it monotoned allowed me to inject texture and details. Monotone (again, as you've probably heard me gush in my previous posts!) is key if you want to infuse details without tripping over thematic. Keeping in mind my focus is my skirt, I added details which belonged to the same family- subtle geometric patterns. And later on, played off a little with kitten ears! Haha Cherry on my oxymoron!

why don't we break the rules already?

Neon love. My dear friend, Lotte, mentioned how she couldn't don some neons yet. I told her you can mix neon to even the staples of all pieces. A white shirt, classic denims... Leave a dash of neon to work its luminous wonders. Right now, I'm just smitten with these stabilo creations. They literally bright up any occasion. <3

Best wishes to our good good friends, Mac & Tannia, who tied the knot yesterday down south. Kudos to Mac! Man, I didn't know you had it in you to orchestrate a wedding single-handedly (almost quite :) )! It was such a beautiful affair! And the spread! And those genius 'angel' wings! haha Sweetness! Thanks again so much, guys! We had an uber time! Too bad I'm not posting pics of the wedding here. Haha Anyhow, just blogging what I wore for the affair. Fernbrook (Alabang) reminded me of ethereal renaissance with those pretty gold interiors and sprawled greens. May pass for a scene from Lord of The Rings with Liv Tyler onset. Haha Sorry, most of the photos aren't as crisp as should be.
